We are thrilled to announce the return of the award-winning First Fridays series on June 7 from 4 PM to 9 PM. Recently recognized as the Best Retail Event in the State by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), First Fridays are set to illuminate the downtown area with a summer kickoff full of fun and excitement for all ages.
Live Music and Entertainment
The event will feature a vibrant lineup of activities, including a 70s and 80s DJ set at Monument Square, cornhole tournaments (to register, email rac.baggers@gmail.com), and free hot dogs from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Additionally, Night Wing will entertain guests at Crosswalk Park from 5 PM to 7 PM, located across the street from Salute Italian Restaurant.
Unveiling of the Public Art Project
A highlight of the evening will be the official unveiling of a public art project featuring butterflies throughout Downtown Racine. Visitors can admire 26 unique butterflies, each showcasing a different vision and artistic flair.
