Racine Public Library

Nestled along the picturesque shores of Lake Michigan, the Racine Public Library has been an integral part of the community since its inception in 1897. Situated at its current location since 1958, the library underwent significant expansion in 1991 to better serve its patrons. As the library prepares to commemorate its 125th anniversary on September 7, 2022, it invites everyone to join in the celebration through a series of festivals, competitions, and events spanning the entire year.

This milestone marks not only a reflection on Racine’s rich history but also signals the beginning of an exciting journey into the future for the Racine Public Library.
